Your eyes say
more than your mouth could ever convey.
The knowing I see there
leaves me speechless—
a knowledge
that frightens me
and steadies me
all at once.
Your eyes carry
a feeling that needs no words,
a trust
that somehow makes me feel safe,
as if you know the parts of me
I’ve never spoken aloud.
Your eyes reflect
a version of me I long to see:
a woman
strong,
beautiful,
vibrant,
and free—
a woman I am still becoming,
yet somehow
already am
when you look at me.
Your gaze lingers
like a quiet affirmation,
a reminder
that I am allowed
to take up space,
to breathe deeply,
to unfold without apology.
A woman
unafraid
to live,
to love—
not because you make her brave,
but because you remind her
she always was.
A woman
no longer afraid
to be—
fully,
softly,
unapologetically
herself.
